Day 1

Our journey today takes us to the "Vacationland" of Maine and on to Woodstock, NB. This evening enjoy accommodations at Best Western.


Day 2

Today drive along Chaleur Bay, ascending toward the Gaspe Peninsula. We'll spend the next two nights at the Riotel Hotel in the seaside town of Perce. Featuring a striking coastline dotted with hills, coves, caves and walking trails, Perce is home to diverse wildlife and a rich history. It was here that Jacques Cartier landed in 1534, and many today are still drawn to this quaint destination.

Day 3

This morning, visit one of the best-preserved general stores in Canada. Here, counters and shelves are stocked with regional specialties from by-gone eras and shopkeepers in period costumes tend to customers. Later, depart on a cruise around the famous Perce Rock and discover Bonaventure Island, home to the largest colony of gannets in the world. Overall the island serves as the summer nesting home to over 250,000 birds from 11 different species. This evening is yours to enjoy on your own.


Day 4

Today we'll enter Forillon National Park and view majestic seaside cliffs and mountains carved out by the ocean. Striking landscapes abound along the Gaspe Peninsula as we continue to the fishing city of Rimouski where the Hotel Rimouski hosts our overnight stay.

Day 5

We'll begin today with a scenic ferry ride from Riviere-Du-Loup to Saint Simeon. Then, we'll travel to the beautiful town of Tadoussac where a memorable one night stay is included at the Hotel Tadoussac. This historic landmark resort is over 150 years old and located on one of the world's most impressive bays. Make yourself comfortable in one of the hotel's Adirondack chairs and marvel at the scenic beauty of the Tadoussac Bay and Saint Lawrence Rivers. Tonight, enjoy dinner at your hotel and spend the evening enjoying the relaxed ambiance of the setting.

Day 6

After breakfast, depart for an unforgettable cruise along the Saguenay River to witness the fourth largest fjord in the world! A naturalist guide leads our tour from the water featuring the breathtaking beauty of the landscape with its rugged mountains, sheer cliffs and spectacular waterfalls. Disembark at L'Anse-Saint-Jean to enjoy free time for lunch and continue on the Beaupre Coast. Later arrive in Quebec City, one of the world's most romantic cities. Accommodations for the next two nights are provided at the Hotel Palace Royal.


Day 7

Our day starts with a guided tour of New and Old Quebec. Enjoy such sights as the Plains of Abraham, the Citadel and the impressive Chateau Frontenac. The remainder of your day is free to explore the city on your own. This evening, a special dinner is included at a local restaurant in the heart of Old Quebec.
