This morning visit the scene where the Allied Forces landed on D-Day, June 6, 1944. Experience a solemn tour of the American Cemetery overlooking Omaha Beach and the final resting place for nearly 10,000 soldiers. Also visit the medieval town of Bayeux to view the exquisite Tapestry which was made in 1066 and chronicles the story of William the Conqueror and the Norman invasion. Today journey past the rolling meadows and tiny French farms to Mont St. Michel, considered to be the most spectacular fortified site in all of Europe. Tour the abbey and learn the incredible history of this fortress that was constructed over a period of 500 years!B, D
