Day 1

Explore with Conway this timeless land whose Old Order inhabitants continue to plow with horses, travel in buggies, and assemble in homes for worship. Amid the sights and sounds of Amish Country, you’ll spend three nights at the Heritage Hotel. This evening, a bountiful smorgasbord dinner is included. (D)

Day 2

This morning, after breakfast, you’ll experience a fascinating tour of the Amish farmlands. A local guide will take you onto the “roads less traveled” to see Amish farms, one room schoolhouses, windwheels, Amish "phone booths", and farmers working the fields with their horses or mule drawn plows. Visit an authentic Amish buggy shop and shop for unique homemade items at Riehl’s Quilt & Crafts. Later, explore Kitchen Kettle Village, full of shops and restaurants, and visit a local Farmer’s Market*. Later, enjoy a sumptuous Amish feast at an actual Amish home. During this amazing dining experience you’ll discover first hand how the Amish live. (B, D)

Day 3

Today, you’ll travel to Gettysburg where the history of the Civil War comes alive through a narrated tour of the Gettysburg Battlefields. Included in this tour are Little Round Top, Pickett’s High Water Mark, and the Eternal Light Peace Memorial. Tonight, you’ll enjoy a special evening of entertainment at the Dutch Apple Dinner Theater. (B, D)

Day 4

Enroute home visit the new Empty Sky Memorial in Liberty State Park, N.J. and witness a memorial dedicated to the lives lost during the September 11, 2001 attack. (B)
