Day 1
Travel to Fredericksburg, Virginia. Our accommodations are provided at the Best Western Inn.
DDay 2
Today we head for Norfolk, VA and visit the MacArthur Memorial to learn the life and career of the five-star Army general. This afternoon attend Virginia's International Tattoo...the largest military exhibition in the United States. The tattoo is a mix of music, dance and patriotism celebrating centuries-old tradition and pageantry. View more than 650 performers from around the world during this unforgettable experience. Later we will travel to Virginia Beach where oceanfront balcony rooms are provided for two nights at the Oceanfront Inn ideally located on Virginia Beach's beautiful boardwalk. Enjoy dinner at a popular local restaurant this evening.
B, DDay 3
After breakfast discover the Norfolk Botanical Garden and view over 50 themed gardens showcasing a stunning array of vibrant flowers and plants. Later return to Virginia Beach where you'll be free to stroll to nearby restaurants and shops amid landscaped parks. This afternoon you can opt (no extra charge) to enjoy a guided tour of the area featuring First Landing, Cape Henry Lighthouse and Oceana, home of the U.S. Navy's fighter jet fleet.
BDay 4
Begin your day with a memorable drive across the Chesapeake Bay Bridge. This 23-mile masterpiece of bridges and tunnels links Virginia Beach to the Eastern Shore of Virginia. Enjoy an Aqua Farm to learn how oysters and clams are cultivated and harvested. Spend time in Cape Charles and stroll historic Mason Avenue to admire its classic 19th century architecture. This evening enjoy dinner and all the resort amenities at the four-star Dover Downs Hotel & Casino.
