Day 1

Today fly to Nashville, the Country Music Capital of the World. Spend four nights at the famed Opryland Hotel elegantly decorated for the Holidays. This evening take your reserved seat for a performance of the Grand Ole Opry at the historic Ryman Auditorium. (D)


Day 2

This morning with your singer/song writer guide you will tour Nashville. Enjoy Nashville's fabled music history with drive-bys of Honky Tonk Row and Printer's Alley. Also see the Parthenon and the State Capitol. You will also learn about breaking into Nashville's music scene and even hear your guide perform an original song. Later visit Music Row and tour Historic RCA Studio B where such musical Titians as Elvis Presley, the Everly Brothers, Roy Orbison and Dolly Parton recorded some of their most popular hits. This evening relive the days when paddlewheel riverboats were kings of the river as we celebrate New Years Eve aboard the General Jackson Showboat. Enjoy an elegant dinner, dancing to a wonderful orchestra, fireworks at midnight and a champagne toast. (B,D)

Day 3

Today you are free to enjoy the comforts and amenities of your fabulous hotel. Take a Delta Flat Boat ride, do some shopping and enjoy the many acres of gardens in your hotel's enclosed atriums.(B)


Day 4

This morning visit Belle Meade Plantation. Surrounded by 30 acres of manicured lawns and trees your costumed guide leads a most interesting tour of this once working plantation and thoroughbred farm. This afternoon explore downtown Nashville on your own. You may want to visit the Country Music Hall of Fame, see Tootsie's Orchid Lounge and more. This evening enjoy dinner at the famed Loveless Cafe. (B,D)
